DoorDash has announced that it is partnering with Southeastern Grocers Inc. (SEG) for on-demand grocery delivery throughout the state of Florida, as well as other surrounding states.

According to a press release from DoorDash, SEG is the parent company of Fresco y Mas, Harvey’s Supermarkets and Winn-Dixie. The partnership involves more than 400 stores in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. Customers can order groceries from a store and they can be delivered in as little as 45 minutes.

The release said SEG will offer customers tens of thousands of items available for delivery such as "fresh produce, dairy, bread, fresh meat and seafood." SEG will also offer Own Brands products that include SE Grocers, SE Grocers Prestige, SE Grocers Naturally Better, and SE Grocers Essentials.

“As consumers continue to crave speed and convenience with their grocery delivery, we are committed to making the experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible,” said Shanna Prevé, Vice President, Business Development at DoorDash. “We are thrilled to partner with Southeastern Grocers to offer consumers across the southeastern United States a convenient option to order their favorite grocery products at the tap of a button. Whether grabbing an ingredient for tonight’s dinner or stocking up on weekly groceries, consumers can now get what they want, when they want from their favorite SEG banner store on the DoorDash app.”

Adam Kirk, SVP of Marketing Operations for SEG, said he is looking forward to the opportunity to meet the evolving needs of the customers SEG serves. He said the partnership is a progression of the company’s e-commerce capabilities. He said the partnership will bring additional opportunities to customers “with the quality and value they expect in our stores.”

All participating Winn-Dixie, Fresco y Mas and Harvey’s Supermarkets will be available on DoorDash.
